Recipe Type: Power Snack
- 4 cupswater
- 1/3 – ½ cup raw cacao
- 5-6 handfuls spinach , c
- 2-3 bananas
- 2 dates or 1 tablespoon agave, coconut aminos, or honey
- 2 tablespoons hemp seed (optional)
- Place all ingredients in blender and process until smooth. For a non-caffeinated smoothie, substitute carob for the cacao. Carob has a sweeter taste so adjust recipe accordingly. Cacao is considered a super food, full of antioxidants, yet does contain caffeine.
- Use care when serving to children or consuming late at night.
