Crunch Jicama Fries

  • 1 large jicama, peeled, and sliced into quarter inch strips to resemble French fries.
  • Base Coating
  • 1 cup nutritional yeast
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt
  • pinchCayenne
  • Herb Fries
  • 1 teaspoon Herbs de Provence
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon thyme or combo of herb of choice
  • Mexican Fries
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • Sweet Fries
  • 1 cup shredded coconut, ground
  • ½-1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • pinch stevia or coconut sugar (optional)
  1. Place all ingredients in a Ziploc bag and mix well. Add Jicama Strips and shake in bag until well coated. These do not keep well once coated. Coating can be kept in a Ziplock bag in the freezer and used as needed for single or multiple servings of fries. Coat as many as desired when ready eat.
