Dr. Nancy Grayson

Senior Regional Director of Health Equity

Nancy Mathea Grayson, Ph.D. has worked for the last 13 years, for the American Heart Association and American Stroke Association, a global leader in the discovery and dissemination of heart disease and stroke science, and is widely known and highly respected as the world’s largest voluntary health organization dedicated to preventing, treating and defeating cardiovascular diseases and stroke – America’s No. 1 and No. 4 killers. The American Heart Association has teamed with millions of volunteers to fund innovative research, fight for stronger public health policies, and provide lifesaving tools and information to prevent and treat heart disease and stroke.

Dr. Grayson’s tenure with the organization has given her incredible hands-on experience in chronic disease management and health promotion both at the individual level, and organizational level.  Dr. Grayson is passionate about helping individuals achieve their greatest health potential through life-style modification, and disease management.   She possesses excellent academic credentials including a PhD in Occupational Studies at Oklahoma State University, and is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Health Informatics from Morsani College of Medicine, University Of South Florida
